Children's Books You Need To Read Again As An Adult

A Wrinkle in Time
The Giver
The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe

I have seen in movie form: Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs and Harriet the Spy.

On this list that I’ve never read and am incredibly interested in is Hatchet, as I’ve had a couple young boys who I admire tell me it is pretty excellent!

With help from The New York Public Library’s Youth Materials Specialist, Betsy Bird, we put together a list of 23 books worth giving a second read.
