All in the Family

by Rachel Baker on August 2, 2013

The NY Times posted a great story written by Susan Dominus titled Stephen King’s Family Business about what else…the Stephen King family, the books they’ve written and the stories they’ve told.   This was posted on the NY Times site on July 31, 2013.  A version of the article appeared in print on August 4, 2013, on page MM18 of the Sunday Magazine with the headline: Children of the Pen.

One of the things I found really interesting about the article was the Naomi section when they are discussing how prevalent religion actually was in the family:

“I truly can’t imagine a more secular family than ours,” Owen said.  But Naomi maintains that religion was always there.

I found this so interesting because I feel like there are very few Stephen King books that aren’t about religion and the question of faith or belief (in something).
